20 Dec 2005 MAJOR UPDATE GenealogyHelp has been through a major update these past few days. The site has been down for a very long time but now returns !
Please make use of the discussion Forums by clicking the 'Forums' link on the left menu. I have still to upload several village transcriptions and all the census records that used to be available on this site. It will be a few weeks before everything is available. 17 July 2002 Genealogy help has now got it's own online forums. You can use the forums to discuss genealogy with other 'Genealogy Help' visitors. They should also greatly improve the sharing of data, and cut down on my daily emails. 24 Aug 2002 Martock researchers updated. 24 Aug 2002 1901 Census returns for Martock and Ash have arrived, includes Bower Hinton, Coat, Milton, Stapleton and Witcombe. 23 Aug 2002 New fiche arrived here for Long Load, Barrington, Isle Brewers, East

descriptions and order details. 7 Aug 2002 After several of you contacted me about problems downloading/viewing the online transcriptions I have paid to remove the pop-up ads, and I've also modified the HTML code used for the Shute online transcriptions. I hope this does the trick and you can enjoy the site :-) 4 Aug 2002 Permission to publish Shute parish records has been obtained from the Incumbrant and DRO :-). New Burials 1799 - 1812 10th April 2002 Shute baptisms index 1813 - 1869, burials 1799 - 1884, marriages 1830 - 1837 now NOT online, awaiting news of copyright problem's concerning the use of Devon PR's :-( ... watch this space 9th April 2002 Parish registers for Shute uploaded, includes baptisms during the 1800's and burials for 1812 - 1884 Baptism index for Martock now covers from 1700 onwards. Many thanks to Tim Weakly for his efforts. Burial index for Martock now covers 1660 onwards. 8th April 2002 Well quite some time has passed since my last update !
